FAQS

How much will it cost to hire your firm for legal representation?

The cost of legal representation can vary depending on the complexity of your case and the legal services required. During our initial consultation, we will discuss the details of your case and provide you with a clear understanding of our fee structure. We believe in transparent pricing, and there are no hidden costs. We also explore payment options, such as hourly rates or contingency fees, depending on the nature of your case, to ensure that legal representation is accessible to you.

How long does it typically take to resolve a legal matter?

The duration of a legal case can vary significantly based on various factors, including the nature of the case, the court's docket, and the complexity of the legal issues involved. Some cases may be resolved relatively quickly through negotiation, while others may take several months or even years if they go to trial. Terms and Conditions

Effective Date:  May 5, 2026

Welcome to AG Notary (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

AG Notary provides mobile notary services in accordance with California law. Our services are limited to lawful notarial acts and related mobile service coordination. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, document preparation, or document interpretation unless otherwise permitted by law.

2. No Legal Advice

We are not attorneys and do not offer legal advice. If you have questions about the content, meaning, or legal effect of any document, you should consult a licensed attorney before your appointment. California notaries are prohibited from giving legal advice or explaining document contents.

3. Appointment Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, email, text, or through our website. You agree to provide accurate information, including the type of notarization needed, the number of signers, location, and preferred appointment time. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule appointments if necessary information is missing or if legal requirements cannot be met.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Have all documents complete but unsigned before the appointment.

Ensure all signers are physically present at the time of notarization.

Provide valid, government-issued identification acceptable under California law.

Confirm that the requested notarization is lawful and appropriate for the document.

We may refuse service if identification is insufficient, the document is incomplete, the signer appears unwilling or unaware, or the notarial act would violate California law.

5. Fees and Payment

Notarial fees are charged in accordance with California law, which currently permits up to $15 per signature notarized. Mobile service, travel, waiting time, after-hours, rush, or convenience fees may apply and will be disclosed before or at the time of booking.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may require a deposit for certain appointments or large travel distances.

6. Travel Fees

Because AG Notary provides mobile service, travel fees may be charged separately from notarization fees. Travel charges are based on distance, time, appointment urgency, parking, tolls, or other service-related factors and will be disclosed in advance whenever possible.

7. Cancellations and No-Shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply when:

The appointment is canceled after confirmation.

The notary is already en route.

The notary has arrived at the location and the appointment cannot proceed.

The client is not available, the signer is absent, or proper identification is unavailable.

Travel fees and late cancellation charges may be non-refundable where disclosed in advance.

8. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:

The requested act is unlawful or improper.

The signer cannot or will not present proper identification.

The signer appears intoxicated, coerced, confused, or unwilling.

The document is incomplete or contains blanks that cannot be notarized lawfully.

Fraud, forgery, or misrepresentation is suspected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AG Notary shall not be liable for damages arising from:

Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.

Delays caused by traffic, weather, access issues, or client unavailability.

Documents prepared by third parties.

Refused notarizations where legal requirements are not met.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree not to use this website for unlawful purposes or to submit false, misleading, or incomplete information. All website content, branding, and materials belong to AG Notary unless otherwise stated and may not be copied or used without permission.

11. Privacy

We may collect personal information necessary to schedule appointments, verify requests, and communicate with you. We use that information only for business operations, service fulfillment, and legally required recordkeeping. Any online data collection should also be covered by a separate Privacy Policy tailored to the website’s forms, SMS, and email marketing practices.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in California.
